CNC Programmer – 1st Shift
Are you a CNC Programmer looking for more family time or longer weekends? VM&W typically works 4.5 days a week. As a result, we close our doors at 10:00am EVERY Friday. Verhoff Machine & Welding takes pride in making employees and their families a priority. In conclusion, our business hours give employees the sense of a three day weekend, every weekend. Therefore, time off = family time.
Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with AutoCAD, SigmaNest, ProE or SolidEdge and CNC MasterCam programming
- Experience with HAAS equipment, tooling, and fixturing is preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings with GD &T tolerancing
- Responsible for producing prototypes from print to a finished part
- Review prints, processes, and material to provide quotations as required
- Lay out job routing and manufacturing processes
- Develop drawings, fixturing, and tooling needed to manufacture components
- Program machining centers and purchase tooling required to produce product to specifications as required
- Work with manufacturing employees and quality department on any problems that might occur
- Stream line and outsource jobs to make cost effective
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blue prints, and job travelers
Hours: First Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday; 6:00am-10:00am Friday; Full-time
Experience
An Associates Degree or equivalent in Engineering is required.
Must pass drug screening.
